Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve

Located a few minutes from the popular Camanche North Shore recreation area, Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve has carefully planned its facilities to ensure a memorable experience for every hunter on every shoot.

Facilities

Relax and enjoy the spacious new clubhouse with dining facilities, expansive pro shop, lawn area, and private space for small groups/meetings.

Birds

The hunting preserve releases thousands of carefully selected, fast-flying pheasants, chukar, valley quail, and waterfowl during the hunting season - October through March. Bird processing is available upon request. Reservations required for some shoots - call ahead for information.

Dogs

Dog rentals with handler are available (reservations required).

Cover

Scientifically and strategically planned cover crops provide a variety of field hunting conditions.

Sporting clays

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned sporting clay enthusiast, the three ten-station sporting clay courses, trap and skeet range, five-stands, and grouse bunkers will provide a welcome challenge. Sporting clay courses are registered with the National Sporting Clays Association. Special arrangements can be made for corporate shoots. 

On-site gun maker

Take advantage of the services of renowned professional gun fitter, NSCA certified shooting instructor, gun repair and restoration specialist, and custom gun maker Dale Tate.

On-site gun engraver

Come ready to order or simply admire the fine craftmanship of freelance engraver Charles E. Lee, who uses only precision hand tools.
