"H2FLOW" music video strikes a chord with over 25,000 views ahead of World Water Day
Grammy-winning Alphabet Rockers and EBMUD rally the community to celebrate water and “tap that tap” in new song
OAKLAND, CA – “H2FLOW,” a musical collaboration with the Grammy Award-winning Alphabet Rockers and East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), has gained momentum ahead of World Water Day on Saturday, March 22, 2025, racking up over 25,000 views in less than one week on YouTube. This song encourages listeners to skip the plastic, drink tap water and protect local watersheds. Watch the H2FLOW music video.
EBMUD partnered with Tommy Soulati Shepherd and Kaitlin McGaw of the Oakland-based Alphabet Rockers to bring the story of water to life with rap and rhythm. After visiting a water treatment plant and San Pablo Reservoir, students from Piedmont Avenue Elementary School in Oakland helped inspire the lyrics through a songwriting workshop.
